Nel 2022, Neopop ha chiuso la sua 15ª edizione con un record storico, il maggior numero di partecipanti mai registrato presso il Forte de Santiago da Barra, a Viana do Castelo. Quest'anno l'organizzazione prevede di registrare un altro sold out per la sua 16ª edizione, che si svolgerà il 10, 11 e 12 agosto. Con il suo solido programma di musica elettronica, Neopop si tiene a Viana do Castelo, una location unica che unisce il meglio del patrimonio culturale, geografico, gastronomico ed etnografico della regione, con il sostegno del Consiglio comunale, un partner chiave per il successo del festival.
Dal 2005, questa città nella regione del Minho in Portogallo ha accolto i più grandi nomi della musica techno ed elettronica internazionale.
Portare la musica elettronica in luoghi meno conosciuti è di fondamentale importanza, in quanto il territorio diventa la chiave della bellezza del festival.
