Ho sempre considerato il ballo come un atto rivoluzionario.
Riprendendo la frase dall’incredibile film “V per Vendetta” ispirata dall’attivista Emma Goldman:
“una rivoluzione senza un ballo è una rivoluzione che non vale la pena di fare.”
Ballare infatti implica muoversi ritmicamente al ritmo di una musica esterna. È guidato da ciò che deve essere fatto piuttosto che da ciò che l'individuo vuole fare. La musica quindi ha la precedenza sul gusto individuale.
Fondamentale quindi è avere un luogo dove poter ballare. E chi se non il club ha il ruolo di poter farci lasciare andare e godere insieme a tantissime altre persone delle musica e del ballo? Il club ti dà la possibilità di sentirti libero, al sicuro e parte di qualcosa che va sicuramente oltre la community online.

Poter tornare a vivere il club: è questo di cui abbiamo sicuramente bisogno e chi se non Cocoricò, culla di avanguardie artistiche e musicali può rappresentare al meglio il tempio di tantissimi amanti della musica? Con la chiusura del Galactica Festival abbiamo capito di quanto sia importante avere degli spazi in cui poter condividere l’amore per la musica elettronica, perchè diciamocelo chiaramente: post pandemia sono tantissimi gli spazi che non hanno resistito al colpo.
E oggi più che mai è fondamentale avere da parte dello stato un sostegno reale e riconoscere una volta per tutte che non si tratta soltanto di una “discoteca” o di intrattenimento: si tratta di un vero e proprio turismo musicale. Turismo di cui città come Ibiza o Berlino vivono ormai da anni e a cui noi in Italia non avremmo nulla da invidiare.

Da non sottovalutare infatti i numeri fatti dal Galactica Festival, più di 8000 presenze in 3 giorni.
Il Galactica Festival è riuscito finalmente a ridare vita al Cocoricò attraverso una scelta musicale incredibilmente ampia e ricercata. E’ riuscito a far convivere gente così diversa tra di loro in uno spazio che va oltre le differenze di genere, di sesso, di età e di razza. Tutti sotto la piramide. Come direbbero i più giovani a club with no boundaries. Tutti a rivivere la magia di quel posto incredibile, perchè sì l’energia che c’è al Cocoricò è unica.
Da non dimenticare infatti che:
“La cosa speciale è la Piramide. Qualche tempo fa dei fisici hanno scoperto che la piramide egizia concentra energia elettromagnetica, incanalandola e disperdendo le onde nel substrato. La Piramide del Cocoricò fa la stessa cosa: concentra l’energia e la passa sotto, dove c’è la gente che balla. Perciò nella Piramide si sperimenta qualcosa di inspiegabilmente speciale”.
Se l’inizio è questo, non possiamo che augurare finalmente, lunga vita al Cocoricò.

I have always regarded dancing as a revolutionary act.
Taking the quote from the incredible movie "V for Vendetta" inspired by activist Emma Goldman,
"a revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having."
Dancing in fact involves moving rhythmically to the beat of an external music. It is driven by what needs to be done rather than what the individual wants to do. Music therefore takes precedence over individual taste.
Fundamental then is to have a space to dance. And who but the club has the role of being able to let us go and enjoy together with so many other people the music and dancing? The club gives you a chance to feel free, safe and part of something that definitely goes beyond the online community.
Being able to experience the club again: this is what we definitely need and who but Cocoricò, cradle of artistic and musical avant-garde can best represent the temple of so many music lovers? With the closing of the Galactica Festival, we realized how important it is to have spaces where we can share our love for electronic music, because let's face it: post-pandemic there are so many spaces that have not withstood the blow.
And today, more than ever, it is crucial to have real support from the state and to recognize once and for all that this is not just "disco" or entertainment: this is real music tourism. Tourism of which cities like Ibiza or Berlin have been living for years now and to which we in Italy would have nothing to envy.
Indeed, not to be underestimated are the numbers made by the Galactica Festival, more than 8000 attendees in 3 days.
The Galactica Festival finally managed to revive the Cocoricò through an incredibly wide and sought-after musical choice. It managed to bring together people so different from each other in a space that transcends differences in gender, sex, age and race. Everyone under the pyramid. As younger people would say a club with no boundaries. All to relive the magic of that incredible place, because yes the energy there is at Cocoricò is unique.
In fact, don't forget that "The special thing is the Pyramid. Some time ago physicists discovered that the Egyptian pyramid concentrates electromagnetic energy, channeling it and dispersing the waves in the substrate. The Pyramid at Cocoricò does the same thing: it concentrates energy and passes it underneath, where people are dancing. So in the Pyramid you experience something inexplicably special."
If this is the beginning, we can only wish finally, long life to Cocoricò.
