L'etichetta house berlinese Home Again ha annunciato il suo più grande evento fino ad oggi sotto forma di un autentico festival di 65 ore non-stop nel cuore della capitale tedesca.

Home Again è un'etichetta discografica ed una serie di eventi con sede a Berlino che celebra le varie sfumature della musica elettronica underground. La loro missione è dare forma a questa cultura promuovendo nuovi talenti, curando eventi e pubblicando musica.

L'HOME AGAIN CLUB FESTIVAL offrirà una tre giorni di grande spettacolo, con 65 ore di musica non-stop attraverso diversi generi dell'underground per dare il via alla stagione dei festival tedeschi.

Da venerdì a lunedì, il grande pubblico avrà la possibilità di ascoltare un'ampia selezione di 49 artisti di vario genere, tra cui Levon Vincent, Cinthie, Leon Vynehall, Dr Banana, Satoshi Tomiie *live, Gabrielle Kwarteng, DJ Seinfeld, Thabo, DJ Mell G, Elijah, Vera e DJ Boring, solo per citarne alcuni, oltre a ospitare sul palco Slapfunk Records di Amsterdam, Porzellan Bar di Berlino e Get Traum di Traumer.

I vasti spazi di RSO Berlin saranno trasformati in uno spazio sicuro per il festival, che si svolgerà in due warehouse, in un'area esterna dedicata a ospitare panel e masterclass di attualità e in un giardino industriale all'aperto che fungerà da terza sala con un'enorme area chill-out. Che preferiate le vibrazioni da warehouse, le sessioni all'alba o i rave, tutto sarà offerto nelle diverse aree del locale per tutto il fine settimana.

I panel saranno caratterizzati da interventi all'avanguardia e contemporanei di alcuni dei più interessanti esponenti dell'industria musicale. Oltre alla musica, il festival offrirà anche incredibili installazioni che completeranno il sistema audio Kirsch Audio, costruito su misura, che sarà presente in tutte le sale.

Per l'occasione ne abbiamo fatto qualche domanda ad uno degli headliner del festival: LEVON VINCENT.

L'Home Again Club Festival si svolgerà a Berlino. Si sa che ogni città ha un suo essere misterioso, ha un suo volto, ha una sua missione. Qual è il tuo rapporto con Berlino?

Berlino è la mia casa adottiva. Sono cresciuto a New York e mi sono trasferito a Berlino quando ho fondato la mia etichetta Novel Sound. Sono davvero felice di aver fatto questo passo nella mia vita, ha spinto la mia musica in avanti, così come la mia intera vita.

Parlando di festival, come prepari il set per questa occasione?

Non ho mai preparato un set, lo preparo all'improvviso. È una cosa che i DJ hanno preso dal jazz: L'improvvisazione.

La tua musica è molto emotiva, cosa ti spinge ad elevarti così tanto nella musica? Qual è la missione della sua musica?

Parlando da DJ, ho a cuore gli stati di beatitudine. Faccio aumentare i battiti del cuore delle persone, le faccio sentire euforiche e felici. Sono queste le emozioni che mi spingono così tanto a lavorare sulla mia musica.

Il festival Home Again Club è stato progettato per creare un ambiente sicuro per tutti, cosa ne pensi del concetto di festival come luogo sicuro per le persone?

È fantastico! Avrebbe dovuto essere così fin dal primo giorno.

Che musica ascolta Levon Vincent quando non suona? Quali saranno i progetti futuri?

Adoro l'LP di debutto di Aretha Franklin, che ho suonato spesso nel mio appartamento. Lo consiglio.

Per quanto riguarda me, faccio musica e live - questa è la mia vita, il mio amore ed il mio futuro :)

Berlin-based house label Home Again has announced its biggest event to date in the form of an authentic 65-hour non-stop festival in the heart of the German capital.

Home Again is a Berlin-based record label and event series that celebrates the various nuances of underground electronic music. Their mission is to shape this culture by promoting new talent, curating events, and releasing music.

The HOME AGAIN CLUB FESTIVAL will offer three days of great entertainment, with 65 hours of non-stop music across different underground genres to kick off the German festival season.

From Friday to Monday, the general public will have the opportunity to listen to a wide selection of 49 artists from various genres, including Levon Vincent, Cinthie, Leon Vynehall, Dr. Banana, Satoshi Tomiie *live, Gabrielle Kwarteng, DJ Seinfeld, Thabo, DJ Mell G, Elijah, Vera, and DJ Boring, to name but a few, as well as hosting the likes of Amsterdam's Slapfunk Records, Berlin's Porzellan Bar and Traumer's Get Traum on stage.

The vast grounds of RSO Berlin will be transformed into a safe space for the festival, which will take place in two warehouses, an outdoor area dedicated to hosting topical panels and masterclasses, and an open-air industrial garden that will serve as a third hall with a huge chill-out area. Whether you prefer warehouse vibes, sunrise sessions, or raves, everything will be on offer in the different areas of the venue throughout the weekend.

The panels will feature cutting-edge and contemporary talks from some of the most interesting people in the music industry. In addition to music, the festival will also offer incredible installations that will complement the custom-built Kirsch Audio sound system that will be present in all the venues.

For the occasion, we asked one of the festival's headliners, LEVON VINCENT, a few questions.

The home Again Club Festival will take place in Berlin. You know every city has its mysterious being, it has its face, it has its mission. What's your relationship with Berlin?

Berlin is my adoptive home. I grew up in NYC and moved to Berlin when I started my label Novel Sound. I'm really happy I made that move in my life, it propelled my music forward, as well as my entire life.

Talking about festivals, how do you prepare the set for this occasion?

I've never prepared a set, I just wing it. That's something from Jazz that DJs have taken with them: Improv.

Your music is really emotional, what drives you to elevate yourself in music? What's the mission of your music?

Speaking as the DJ- I cherish the states of bliss. I raise people's heartbeats and make them feel euphoric and happy. Other emotions too...

Home Again Club festival is designed to create a safe environment for everyone, what do you think about the concept of the festival as a safe place for people?

It's awesome! It should have been that way from day one.

What music does Levon Vincent listen to when he doesn't play? What will be the plans?

I love Aretha Franklin's debut LP, which has been played in my flat often. I recommend it.

As for me? I'm making music and gigging- that's my life, my love, and my future :)
