T-Mag PREMIERE: Immersione Records pres. "Nessie VA" [IMS 002]
Immersione Records - etichetta discografica nata nella progressista città di Bologna ed ideata dalle menti sediziose di Cnc, Rafal S, Cixxx J, Flavio Deff, Ucci, Lucretio - oggi, viene raccontata attraverso le sonorità degli FJ40 Bass Corp.
Neil Landstrumm e Grienkho hanno dato vita a questo progetto musicale "prelevando" il nome da una gloriosa cruiser degli anni '60, di proprietà di entrambi. I due artisti sono soliti comporre e registrare brani "fuori strada", in contesti non familiari e convenzionali, ovverosia tra un concerto ed un altro. Questa attitudine deriva probabilmente dalla costante necessità di innovare e sperimentare, oltrepassando i limiti del conosciuto.
"Milano Basement", traccia estratta dal secondo Various Artist "Nessie", è stata messa al mondo nello studio sotterraneo del negozio di dischi Serendeepity (Milano), utilizzando strumenti sequenziali vintage di Dave Smith, come il Prophet, groovebox svedesi e un Korg Minilogue.
Melodie da game anni '90 contornano fin da subito un groove deciso e, a tratti, industriale. Suoni dal filtro aperto accompagnano l'ascoltatore in un trip iterativo, minimalista ma, senza dubbio, sperimentale ed audace.
Un viaggio narrato da voci libere, in grado di incontrarsi lungo un tortuoso percorso, per poi allontanarsi e riprendere il proprio cammino in maniera indipendente, svincolandosi da ogni obbligo e catena emozionale.

Il mostro Marino scelto per questa uscita è Nessie - il famigerato mostro di Loch Ness: l'artwork è opera dell'artista visuale Spanky ed il formato analogico (su cassetta) sarà abbinato ad una nuova Fanzine e alle t-shirt Immersione.

Immersione Records - a record label born in the progressive city of Bologna and conceived by the seditious minds of Cnc, Rafal S, Cixxx J, Flavio Deff, Ucci, Lucretio - today, is told through the sounds of FJ40 Bass Corp.
Neil Landstrumm and Grienkho started this musical project by taking the name from a glorious 1960s cruiser owned by both of them. The two artists used to compose and record songs "off the road," in unfamiliar and conventional settings, that is between concerts. This attitude probably stems from the constant need to innovate and experiment, pushing the boundaries of the known.
"Milano Basement," a track excerpted from the second Various Artist "Nessie" was brought to life in the underground studio of the record store Serendeepity (Milan), using vintage Dave Smith sequential instruments such as the Prophet, Swedish grooveboxes and a Korg Minilogue.
'90s game tunes surround a purposeful and, at times, industrial groove from the get-go. Open-filtered sounds accompany the listener on an iterative, minimalist but, without a doubt, experimental and daring trip.
A Journey narrated by free voices, able to meet each other along a tortuous path, and then resume their path independently, freeing themselves from all obligations and emotional chains.

The Sea Monster chosen for this release is Nessie - the infamous Loch Ness monster: the artwork is by visual artist Spanky and the analog format (on cassette) will be paired with a new Fanzine and Immersione t-shirts.
