Venezia, città che da sempre incanta per la sua peculiarità di essere una porta aperta al mondo, è allo stesso tempo il centro di movimenti culturali in rapida evoluzione.
In un contesto storico di effervescenza culturale e artistica, dove anche La Biennale - una fondazione culturale italiana - ha messo le sue radici, nasce 100_ve, un progetto ambizioso che mira a sfidare i confini temporali e spaziali di un festival convenzionale, abbracciando l'essenza stessa di Venezia.
Arrivati oggi alla terza stagione, dopo aver ospitato alcuni dei nomi più interessanti del panorama elettronico contemporaneo (ma soprattutto nomi che in Italia non si vedono spesso e che in questo senso, per definizione portano con sé una certa percentuale di sfida e scommessa) come Batu, Black Merlin, Cardinal & Nun, Dj Overdose, E-Saggila, Ece Ozel, Elena Colombi, EmmaDj, Ginevra Nervi, Jonathan Castro, Kris Baha, L.F.T, Lostsoundbytes, Marsman, Mejle, Morah, Mumdance, Shlagga, Simo Cell, Upsammy & Sjoerd Martens, Woody92 e ZULI, torneranno ad animare le dancefloor dello storico Centro Social Rivolta, venerdì 08 Dicembre con Djrum, Zohar, Nothus b2b Big Hands, Jacopo Buda e Delikwe.
Ciò che colpisce di ogni line up è che non c'è veramente un "headliner", ma tutti gli artisti insieme formano un concetto più grande, raccontano un unico messaggio sonoro, un' unica dichiarazione di intenti. Ogni artista è stato inserito in quella line up per un "common ground" che li unisce l'uno con l'altro e non si fanno grosse distinzioni di numeri o followers.
Djrum è un artista perennemente acclamato dal circuito underground, che fin dalla sua prima uscita nel 2010, si distingue per il suo talento nel combinare senza sforzo le sue influenze (Techno, Ambient, Modern Classical, Jazz, Electronica, Broken Beat Dubstep, Jungle, Footwork, DnB, Triphop, Gabber ed Electro) in un'estetica sorprendentemente personale e riconoscibile. Per chi scrive, la vera "headliner" (anche se a 100_ve, gli headliners non ci sono) è però Zohar: artista olandese che ha fin da subito ha fatto parlare di sè per il suo approccio senza compromessi nei dj set, dove miscela sonorità all'avanguardia con brani industriali, selvaggi e dalla forte, fortissima personalità , affilati come una Katana e mixati con una grande attenzione alla dinamica e alla tensione ritmica. L'attenzione si sposta su di lei anche quando lancia la sua label: DIY Zohar, dove prendono vita un ampio spettro di strutture sonore e atmosfere complesse che variano da tracce break pensate per la dancefloor ad elettronica sperimentale, ambient e dub.
Al loro fianco anche, Delikwe e Nothus, i rappresentanti di un progetto di cui ogni italiano-appassionato-di-musica-elettronica-da-ballo, dovrebbe sentirsi fiero di poter annoverare come nostrano: xcpt, label e serie di eventi dedicato alla valorizzazione delle diverse sfumature dello spettro della musica elettronica made-in-UK.
La line up è dunque qui intesa, come un'esperienza di ricerca e sperimentazione, focalizzata non solo sul ballo e sulla musica, ma anche sull'espansione delle frontiere dell'arte e della cultura, sotto il grido e il credo di ricerca e sperimentazione.
L'idea di 100_ve di estendersi in una "stagione intera" creando così il concetto di "festival espanso" sfida la concezione tradizionale dei festival, offrendo un'esperienza diluita nel tempo e in spazi differenti, sottolineando il desiderio di essere più di un evento "one-night".
A sposare e rendere perfettamente realizzabile questa visione, vi è il Centro Sociale Rivolta, uno spazio che non è solo un luogo di passaggio, ma un ambiente dove la musica, l'arte e l'interazione si fondono in un'unica esperienza immersiva.
100_ve è un progetto unico in Italia e per il panorama italiano, agendo come una piattaforma inclusiva che unisce artisti locali e internazionali, promuovendo la diversità e la collaborazione senza l'ausilio di sponsor, preservando al massimo possibile uno spazio sicuro per tutti.
L'apporto che il collettivo ha dato a tutto l'hummus di artisti emergenti italiani è straordinario, scegliendo sempre di affiancare un artista locale ad un artista internazionale, promuovendo un equilibrio strabiliante.
100_ve affronta anche le sfide di creare una scena artistica solida in una città nata per "essere attraversata", lottando contro la mancanza di spazi di aggregazione e contro una visione limitata delle istituzioni verso le arti, al di fuori del contesto della Biennale.
In un periodo in cui Venezia è in costante trasformazione, 100_ve si propone come un faro di ispirazione per chi sogna di creare un clubbing diverso e desidera un luogo o una piattaforma che sia un trampolino di lancio per la creatività locale e una fonte di ispirazione per un pubblico più vasto.
Il successo di 100_ve risiede nell'abilità di trasformare Venezia, da città di passaggio a luogo di permanenza, dove la musica e l'arte diventano parte integrante del tessuto urbano, contribuendo a plasmare una nuova identità culturale e artistica.

Venice, a city that has always enchanted for its peculiarity of being an open door to the world, is at the same time the centre of rapidly evolving cultural movements.
In a historical context of cultural and artistic effervescence, where even La Biennale - an Italian cultural foundation - has taken root, 100_ve was born, an ambitious project that aims to challenge the temporal and spatial boundaries of a conventional festival, embracing the very essence of Venice.
Now in its third season, after having hosted some of the most interesting names on the contemporary electronic scene (but above all names that are not often seen in Italy and that, in this sense, by definition carry with them a certain percentage of challenge and gamble) such as Batu, Black Merlin, Cardinal & Nun, Dj Overdose, E-Saggila, Ece Ozel, Elena Colombi, EmmaDj, Ginevra Nervi, Jonathan Castro, Kris Baha, L. F.T, Lostsoundbytes, Marsman, Mejle, Morah, Mumdance, Shlagga, Simo Cell, Upsammy & Sjoerd Martens, Woody92 and ZULI, will return to enliven the dancefloors of the historic Rivolta Social Centre on Friday 08 December with Djrum, Zohar, Nothus b2b Big Hands, Jacopo Buda and Delikwe.
What is striking about each line up is that there is not really a 'headliner', but all the artists together form a bigger concept, they tell a single sonic message, a single statement of intent. Each artist has been included in that line up because of a 'common ground' that unites them with each other, and there is no big distinction of numbers or followers.
Djrum is a perennially acclaimed artist on the underground circuit who, since his first release in 2010, has stood out for his talent in effortlessly combining his influences (Techno, Ambient, Modern Classical, Jazz, Electronica, Broken Beat Dubstep, Jungle, Footwork, DnB, Triphop, Gabber and Electro. ) in a surprisingly personal and recognisable aesthetic. For this writer, the real 'headliner', however, is Zohar: a Dutch artist who immediately made people talk about her for her uncompromising approach to DJ sets, where she mixes avant-garde sounds with industrial, wild beat tracks with a strong, strong personality, sharp as a Katana and mixed with great attention to dynamics and rhythmic tension.
Attention also shifted to her when she launched her own label, DIY Zohar, where a wide spectrum of sound structures and complex atmospheres came to life, ranging from break tracks designed for the dancefloor to experimental electronica, ambient and dub.
Alongside them also, Delikwe and Nothus, the representatives of a project that every Italian dance-music-electronica-enthusiast should feel proud to count as being ours: xcpt, a label and event series dedicated to the exploitation of the different nuances of the made-in-UK electronic music spectrum.
It focuses not only on dance and music, but also on expanding the frontiers of art and culture, under the cry and creed of research and experimentation.
The idea of 100_ve to extend over an 'entire season' thus creating the concept of an 'expanded festival' challenges the traditional conception of festivals, offering an experience diluted over time and in different spaces, emphasising the desire to be more than a 'one-night' event.
Marrying this vision and making it perfectly feasible is the Rivolta Social Centre, a space that is not just a place to pass through, but an environment where music, art and interaction come together in one immersive experience.
100_ve is a unique project in Italy and for the Italian scene, acting as an inclusive platform bringing together local and international artists, promoting diversity and collaboration without the help of sponsors, preserving as much as possible a safe space for all.
The collective's contribution to the entire hummus of emerging Italian artists is extraordinary, always choosing to pair a local artist with a headliner, promoting an amazing balance.
100_ve also faces the challenges of creating a solid art scene in a city born to "be traversed", struggling against the lack of gathering spaces and against a limited vision of the institutions towards the arts, outside the context of the Biennale.
